The Office for International Relations and Academic Cooperation at Marmara University officially participated in the APAIE: Asia-Pacific Association for International Education Annual Conference & Expo (APAIE 2026), held in Hong Kong from February 23–27, 2026. Marmara University was represented at the event by Assoc. Prof. Özkan Zülfüoğlu, Coordinator of the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Office.
As one of the world’s and Asia-Pacific region’s premier international education gatherings, APAIE brings together higher education institutions, student exchange programs, and academic cooperation networks from across the globe each year. At this year’s conference, Türkiye attracted considerable attention through the “Study in Türkiye Pavilion,” organized under the coordination of the Turkish National Agency. Recognized as one of the most prominent and visually striking exhibits at the expo, the pavilion was widely regarded as a tangible reflection of Türkiye’s international higher education vision.
